snack; nibbles

During my university days, it was cheap then to buy a snack. I would munch on a curried beef bun or a big cinnamon roll and drink a cup of tea.

I never used to eat snacks.

Buy me a snack.

I'd made up my mind to stop snacking, but against my better judgment, I keep giving in to temptation and eating ice cream.

If you want to lose weight, you should cut down on between-meal snacks.
