Chinese Idiom Chain
Build a chain of Chinese idioms (chengyu): each word must start with the pinyin of the last character of the previous one. Tap-to-pick candidates make it playable as soon as you know pinyin, and every card carries a plain-English definition and audio.

Same-sound linking
Words starting with a same-pinyin character can continue the chain (e.g. 以 yǐ after 一 yī). Turn off to require the exact same character.
Show pinyin in choices
Display the pinyin under each choice. Turn off for a real challenge — a wrong pick will still show its reading
